I've been trying to find some activities for Willow to do while i make her dinner in the evenings as to be honest she is a bit of a pain this time of the day. Its always impossible to entertain her and cook at the same time. So today i thought i would try some Cloud Dough. I found the recipe on Tinkerlab. With a ratio of 8:1 flour to oil, it was super quick and easy to make. The consistency of the dough is really weird. It can be powdery like flour one moment, and then moldable (like damp sand) the next. I threw is some measuring cups and cookie cutter shapes and viola 30 minutes peace and quiet.
It did get rather messy when we started to clean the dough away when Willow dumped the lot on the floor. Next time i think we'll use a larger tray and maybe experiment with some more flexible molds and some food colouring.
