The Beach

Who would have thought that if there was some sun to be had in the gloomy depths of November, that it would be on the Oregon coast. We headed out to Cannon Beach for a last minute jolly.

Fall

It sure is beautiful this time of year. We went for a wander through our new neighborhood this afternoon to take in the unseasonably hot weather. It has been a glorious end to the summer with temperatures hitting 75 F today and it looks like staying the same all week. Lucky us.

Cape Camping

We headed out for our first camping trip of the year. Cape Lookout was the destination. I have no idea why we have left it so late to venture out, especially as it seems like the summer is already drawing to a close. There's nothing like a little camping to sooth the soul and clear out the cobwebs.

Scootin and Paintin

We ventured out in the cold this afternoon for a bit of scooter action. What happened to the summer? It seemed like only yesterday we were sweltering and complaining about the 100+ degree heat. It's really starting to feel wintery now. Whatever are we going to do with ourselves as the Portland cold and rain start closing in for the next 6 months.

When we got back home we decided to try some leaf prints.Willow picked the colours and got to work on painting the leaves and branches we had collected.  She wasn't too bothered with the printing part and so it slowly turned into hand and finger painting.

Why would i paint leaves when i have hands to paint?
