Our after dinner treat. Although it wasn't much of a treat as i forgot to put the sugar in. It was just as well really as madam managed to pack away 3 of them after her tea.

Cool Candy
I just found these amazing decorative sweets on Etsy by Andie's Specialty Sweets http://www.etsy.com/shop/andiespecialtysweets. My brain still seems to be fixated on the woodland theme from the baby shower. Speaking of which i really must get around to finishing Willows tree growth chart and her tree stump pillows which have been on the back burner for a while.

The Weekend
It seems like we haven't stopped, the Zoo, Liam's 2nd Birthday party and Holly's Baby Shower all in one weekend.
Lots of chocolate cake was had by all.
Holly's Woodland theme Baby Shower turned out great. I've been making a bunch of stuff for the last few weeks. the bunting, the fabric mushroom's, the embroidered logs and the birds in branches.

Cloud Dough and Chilli
I've been trying to find some activities for Willow to do while i make her dinner in the evenings as to be honest she is a bit of a pain this time of the day. Its always impossible to entertain her and cook at the same time. So today i thought i would try some Cloud Dough. I found the recipe on Tinkerlab. With a ratio of 8:1 flour to oil, it was super quick and easy to make. The consistency of the dough is really weird. It can be powdery like flour one moment, and then moldable (like damp sand) the next. I threw is some measuring cups and cookie cutter shapes and viola 30 minutes peace and quiet.
It did get rather messy when we started to clean the dough away when Willow dumped the lot on the floor. Next time i think we'll use a larger tray and maybe experiment with some more flexible molds and some food colouring.
