Family Night

Family night at Willow's pre school rolled around again, so quickly and oh so bitter sweet. It signifies the end of the school year, which means she really only has a few weeks left. Childswork really has been a magical and nurturing place for Willow for 2 years. She has made some wonderful friends and her relationships with April and Garrett (her teachers) have blossomed over the last few months. But alas there are lots of changes ahead for this little one.
Not only will she be heading off to big school to start all over, she will also be a big sister. A baby is well and truly on the way. The last few months have literally flown by. The countdown has begun. Seven weeks to a whole new chapter in all our lives. How exciting.
To mark to occasion i made her a sweet lil dress from an old vintage bedsheet. Its the Oliver + S Fairy Tale Dress, which has a Peter Pan collar, tulip cap sleeves and crinoline to make the skirt a little fuller. Willow LOVES this dress, (lucky for me) and has worn it for 3 days straight. It felt so good making another dress. I feel like i am physically and mentally slowing right down coming towards the end of this pregnancy so the house renovations ie painting, feel like they are starting to take a toll. Hopefully i can get another couple of sewing projects under my belt before the big day. We'll see.
