New Blanket

I picked up this lovely mushroom fabric to make a new blanket for willow. She just loves her cozy furry baby blanket that she has always gone to bed with. But over time the blanket shrinks, she grows as does her frustration as it refuses to cover her entire body. So here is the much bigger version, lined with baby soft fur for her to cuddle up in. Oh and check out what it just so happens to be called.
(Note to self i really must finish that pesky height chart and stop starting other projects.)

Tis'Berry Season

Ive just discovered that my lil compact camera has a number of different settings that i've never used. I'm using the 'foliage' setting for everything at the moment, i really like the super saturated colours it  gives.

Ballet Class

Miss bossy pants is on the far right.

Clouds

I'm loving all things cloud at the moment and am thinking about adding some cloud cushions to Willow's bedroom.I really like splashes of grey and black in a kids room, it seems to make the spaces look a little more grown up.
Loving this kids room, via the modern baby.co.uk. That penguin wallpaper is pretty sweet too.

Camping round 2

We went to Oxbow Park for a spot of camping at the weekend with some of our playgroup buddies, Kyrie, Eli's mama managed to bag a couple of great spots right by the river early on friday morning. Willow had a great time hanging out with Eli, so feeling brave, we decided to stay for 2 nights.

Halloween

Is it too soon to be thinking about W's Halloween costume? I'm thinking of sticking to the bird theme from last year, http://sarahandwillow.blogspot.com/2011/10/diy-owl-halloween-costume.html
until madam decides otherwise. She has requested that she be a Flamingo this year. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that its pink.

Tassels and Sequins

Madam picked up this little tasseled, sequined number at our favourite second hand shop The Village Merchant for a bargin, $5. Cleo seemed to be quite taken with it too.

Daddy time

I love this shot. Wil has started to impersonate Malcolm a lot, especially at the dinner table. He was trying to look at something on the laptop but the sun was in his eyes, of course Wil had to copy. It's very sweet.

Trip to Trillium

We are determined to try and get out of Portland at the weekends more while the weather is good. So on sunday we headed out to Trillium Lake, near Mount Hood, for a spot of lunch.
