Hanging with the Dyson's
We had Liam and Cordelia over to ours this morning for our regular friday morning swap. As always it was complete mayhem and impossible to get a photo of Willow and Liam together. Lucky for me lil' Cordelia was more than happy to oblige.
I do love seeing Cordelia in Wil's ole baby clothes
And this afternoon we ventured out to our local launderette (for the first time ever) as my washer conveniently gave up on us in the middle of night time potty training. Three full sets of bedclothes in one night. It wasn't pretty. But i have to say that it was actually surprisingly painless, maybe even an enjoyable experience doing a little communal washing.

Drawing's
I have no idea when this happened. It seems as though, almost overnight, Wil's drawings have suddenly become a lot more human like. Gaining arms, legs, a body and even fingers and different types of hair in one fell swoop. I didn't really realize it before but drawings are such a tangible way to catch those developmental milestones.

Giddy Up Cowboy
I see Liam has been enjoying his new friend. I'm always pleased when a kid actually uses something i've made. I'll have to have a think about something for this lil guy's birthday which will be here in no time.

Children's Museum
We met up with Wil's buddy Claire from pre-school today for a little action at the Children's museum. We normally do a swap on a friday morning but our little buddies Liam and Cordelia have been sick so Shannon has been in hiding til they get better.
All the usual activities ensued at the museum, painting, sculpting and face painting, but with a LOT more gusto. The kids were so giddy to see each other out of school and had a riot and i managed to get a little adult conversation (for a change) with Claire's mama Jessica.
