Lily is 3

March is full of birthday's and today was no exception. Lily had her 3rd birthday at the swap shop gym today. It was all very civilized. Joan, Lily's mama, nailed it. The location was spot on (the space was big enough for the kids to run themselves silly for an hour and a half) the time slot (late afternoon) and snacks (no cupcakes or sweets). Unlucky for them but lucky for us.

Yay, the sun made a much needed appearance today. It was almost balmy. People were, quite literally, letting it all hang out. I can not wait for summer.

 Naked dude and semi naked gal strolling along Hawthorn this afternoon without a care in the world, and only in Portland, where nobody bats an eye. I love this town.

Much to our delight, madam got some lovely new boot's in the post this week care of auntie Sam. Thank you so much we love em.

Cabin in the woods

We managed a little get away for my birthday last weekend to Mount Hood. Although there hadn't been much recent snowfall it was still good enough for us to do a little sledding. The weather was great and we pretty much had the whole slope to ourselves. Willow had a blast.

Playgroup

Playgroup was a riot at our house this week. Lots of fun was had by all, especially when all dressed up, the lot of them raced around doing a circuit of the house. Even lil Gusty managed to keep up. It was pretty harmonious, on the whole, but when the biting started we figured it was time to break up the party.
