Flubber

So i finally got around to making a batch of home made slime for Willow. It was basically just Elmer's wood glue water and a touch of Borax which is a mild powdered laundry soap.
We started off by emptying  1 8oz bottle of Elmer's glue into  a large mixing bowl

We then filled the empty bottle with warm water and gave it a good shake, then poured the glue-water mixture into the mixing bowl and gave it a really mix up.

Add a teaspoon of food coloring. Then measure 1/2 cup of warm water into the plastic cup and add a teaspoon of Borax powder to the water and stir the solution. The Borax solution is the secret linking agent that causes the Elmer’s Glue molecules to turn into slime.

Then you slowly add the Borax solution to the glue and stir until the slime comes together.

Finally the slime comes together in one mass.

Willow especially enjoyed pressing different shaped toys into it and watching how quickly it returned to its original shape.

The final experiments were seeing how far the slime would stretch out

and finally making foot and hand prints in the stuff.
