First Day

Today was madam's first day at pre-school. Willow has been talking about being a big girl and going to school for months and now the day is finally here. She was super excited, and when she ran into her new buddy Clare outside they found each others hands, and ran first into the classroom. It couldn't have been any easier for her. I have to say that i shed a tear or two walking back home without her. Today is the beginning of a new world, a new world to be explored independently of her mama. I didn't realize how hard it would be to see her go solo but i guess this is just the start of new and wonderful things for my lil' bird. I'm so proud of you. Fly high.

 And she's off. I feel pretty lucky than we are right around the corner and can walk to school.
