Beach

We decided on a last minute jolly out to Cannon beach today. We booked a hotel room last week but had been umming and ahhing about whether to go or not as the weather had been slowly deteriorating all week. A trip out to the Oregon coast is pretty wild and windy on the best of days so it wasn't looking too good if Portland was anything to go by. We decided to give it a shot, for lack of anything else to do, and went prepared. Donning our rain gear, wellies, wooly hats and gloves we ventured out onto the beach. Lucky for us, the horizontal rain and blustery winds kept most people at bay so we had Cannon Beach all to ourselves. Willow even learned how to fly a kite.
