Birthday Boys

We had both Liam and Colin's birthday bashes in the same day. Liam had a Peter Pan/ Tinkerbell theme at Playdate PDX which is a huge softplay indoor space. Colin's was held at our regular haunt, the swap shop.

 These shots were taken in the ball room where kids are allowed to shoot foam balls at each other through air guns mounted at each side of the room. It is a battle field. But imagine the satisfaction derived from pelting other people's children into quiet submission with the balls. Or is this just me?

I didn't manage to get many photo's from Colin's party in the afternoon. I couldn't get anyone to stand still long enough. It was a very boisterous affair with a mainly older boy attendance so needless to say there was lots of running, crashing cars and fighting with swords. Although Willow joined in with much of the crazyness she did look a little bemused at times by many of the antics. I think she was just completely pooped by the end of the day. And so were we.
